WONDERING WHICH STROLLER MEETS YOUR LIFESTYLE AND BUDGET NEEDS?  Find out more here…

There are SO MANY strollers on the market, and many meet different needs, so I’ll give you a few of my favorites in different price (High, Moderate, Average) and usage categories, but don’t be afraid to explore. Just be sure to check the ratings.

HIGH Priced:
Bugaboo Cameleon
(Birth +) Approximately $899

Pros:
Comes with various attachments and accessories.
Can be used with the Graco SnugRide Infant car seat, the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 2005, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 2006 and the Maxi Cosi Micro Infant car seat. (With the use of a separately sold car seat adapter).
Can be used from birth to about 4 years old.
Smooth ride for baby
Has various shock settings for various terrains.
Large storage basket.
Can change seat direction to face towards or away from you.

5-point harness system.

3 seat positions (Upright, reclined, back) so you can pull baby right up to the table to dine with you.
Handlebars adjust.

Cons:
Expensive.
Even when folded up is rather large.
Two separate pieces to find space for.
No cup holders (sold separately).

Not a great place to hang a diaper bag, as it is lightweight and may tip if you hang on the handlebars. (Bugaboo would probably discourage this, but I hang mine from the brake lever)

This was my first stroller and I loved it!  However for the money I would recommend the BOB Revolution Stroller (see description below).  This has been the perfect stroller for me.

Orbit Infant System: (Birth+) Approximately $899 (plus $180 for stroller seat, +$$ for the Toddler seat)

Pros:

The car seat is easy to install and attaches directly from the car to the base of the stroller.
Seat rotates. So if baby is fussing, or you want to give them a change of scenery simply “orbit” the baby to desired position.
Claims “most advanced” car seat and meets or exceeds ASTM and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
Fast and easy 1 hand folding mechanism.
The best part…it has a TODDLER care seat that you can take in and out of the car, so unlike most conversion (toddler) car seats, which are stationary, this one fits on the base of the stroller.

Cons:
Expensive.
Only works with their own car seats.
Car seat is very large. Especially if you have a sedan type of car.
Heavy

MODERATE PRICED

BOB Revolution: (With the car seat Birth +) Approximately $359
 (*MY PICK*) LOVE IT!!
Pros:

Seat reclines up to 70%.

Support (and padding) throughout.
Big sun canopy.
Excellent maneuverability.
Great “anywhere” stroller (i.e. on the trail or at the mall).

Large storage basket.
Easy to fold and store.
Compatible with the following car seats: Britax Companion,
Graco SafeSeat,
Graco SnugRide,
Peg Perego Primo Viaggio

Cons:
No latch feature.
2 steps to fold.

Quinny Zapp: (6 months+, Birth + with the Car Seat Attachment) Approximately $199
Pros
:

Smallest folding stroller on the market.
Has it’s own case for traveling.
Compatible with the Maxi Cosi Infant Car Seat. Looks Fantastic!

Cons:
Small storage compartment underneath.
Very upright.
Does not adjust.
Because it is so lightweight, may tip if you pile bags etc. on the back.

Maclaren Triumph $150-$209 (3 months +)

Pros:

Seat adjusts to reclined and upright position.
Fairly large storage basket.
Very lightweight and ideal for travel.
Easy to fold up (vice versa).

Baby is very comfortable.

Cons:
No car seat adaptability.
Not the smoothest ride.
Wheels tuck up into the sunshade, so it gets dirty fairly easy.

AVERAGE:

Graco SnugRider Infant Car Seat Stroller Frame (i.e. Snap and Go): $60 (Birth +)
Pros:
More or less a car seat carrier.
Easy steering.
Large underneath basket.

2 Cup holders with try for additional try.
Breaks down easily and latches.

Cons:
Only works with Graco SnugRide and Graco SafeSeat.

Not as compact as some other strollers.
Not as light as an umbrella stroller.

Jeep All Weather Umbrella Stroller (Kolkraft): (3 months + – 30 lbs.
Pros:
Reclines into 2 positions.
Smooth ride with shocks.
Compact.
Cargo bag for storage.
