While there are no benefits to adding preservatives, otherwise known as Parabens and/or Phthalates, (other than extending the shelf-life of the product), the challenge is that almost every major brand of cosmetics (i.e. skin products, body lotions, personal care products, lubricants, hair products, cosmetics, deodorant, sunscreen etc.) contains Parabens. But what exactly do they do?
